Leah Sundquist
Leah R. Sundquist joined Oregon State University Extension in 2019 as the Manager and County Liaison for Clackamas County, the 3rd largest county in Oregon. She works with faculty and staff to ensure priority programming and resources are leveraged and delivered across the county to enhance the economic value of the community as well as the lives of the residents. She is currently engaged in the planning and development of a new county Extension building in collaboration with the local community college to link pathways of learning from youth to elderly.
She has a background in teaching, military service, coaching, emergency management and civic leadership. In addition to managing the county resources she teaches Mental Health First Aid and Emergency Preparedness to augment the Family Community Health program. She is a believer in Lifelong learning and Coaching.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Texas at El Paso, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from City University, Bellevue, WA and a Masters in Strategic Planning and Leadership from the U.S Army War College, Carlisle, PA. Additionally, she is an Internationally Certified Results Coach.
