UMass Extension, educational outreach unit of the UMass Amherst Center for Agriculture, Food, and the Environment and part of the national Cooperative Extension System, works across all regions of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Its outreach educational programs are focused on a common goal of educating and informing individuals, communities and businesses on topics of interest and concern, utilizing the academic resources of UMass Amherst and other sources.
